Our Day Trip to the Shirley Miller Wildflower trail:
The Shirley Miller Wildflower trail is a fun little hike, and the boys really enjoyed it. The main walking path is wood planked and is built two or so feet off the ground It gives a nice on top perspective of the flora. There is a water fall that is just about a 1/3 of a mile hike past the wood walking path. From what I hear, the water fall is not always flowing. Though, we went the night after a really heavy rain, and the water fall was really nice. As always you can click the image to see the full size pictures.

Here is a google map if you want more. Once in LaFayette, GA take Hwy 193 North for 8 miles until you get to Davis Cross roads. Take that left onto Hog Jowl Rd. Drive almost 3 miles until you get to Pocket Rd. and take a left. Pocket Rd. is about a mile long, and turns into a parking lot at the end. Walk through the handicap parking area to get to the trail.
